so i don’t know if anyone has ever moved away from their hometown. but if you have, have you ever noticed that its almost as if people forget all about you? only a few call and a few write. but if you pay hometown a visit, GOD FORBID YOU DON’T TELL EVERYONE AND SEE EVERYONE! all of a sudden you’re obligated to find everyone because they “miss you”. well if they miss you so much, why the hell don’t they just pay you a visit? “well, work is really taking up a lot of my time”, “im sorry man i’ve been really busy”, drive all the way out there? are you f*cking crazy?” but you’re the one who’s obligated to do it because you’re the ‘selfish’ one that moved away. for those of you reading that have a good friend or a relative that moved away, why don’t you give them a call, or pay them a visit. maybe next time they’re in town they’ll be more likely to come see you as well.
